Wow...has it been awhile since my last post! Sorry about that, but we have had a very busy summer:)
Let's start off with Charlie entering his first golf tournaments through US Kids Golf.
He played three this season. First tournament (Boone Creek, Bull Valley, IL) Charlie won the bronze with a score of 52. The second Tournament (Broken Arrow, Lockport, IL) he won silver with a score of 57. Charlie and his opponent tied, so they had to go into a playoff hole, which Charlie missed his putt and took second. He was still very proud of himself for getting the silver.
Last but not least, Charlie played his championship tournament (Balmoral Woods, Crete, IL) like a champ. He came in second place again with a score of 52. Because it was a championship round Charlie also received a silver plate. Charlie really enjoyed this round because he had is mom, papa Hoffman, and most of all his biggest fan and caddy, Chas...AKA daddy cheering for him!
WE are so proud of you Charlie!
Next year he can't wait to try for GOLD:)
