Last week, Chas and I and my sister and Paul went to Florida to have some "grown-up time." We are so lucky that my parents have a house in Fort Myers to go to. We went out for dinner, out for drinks, golfed, listen to GREAT music, laid in the sun, read books, danced, etc...
This vacation was much needed with NO KIDS!! There was no time schedule, no yelling "mama" all day, no fighting, wrestling, biting, crying...I can go on and on.
However my in-laws and my parents shared the time to watch our kids (2 days, 2 days). Chas and I could not be more thankful for that. This was our first time away from the kids for four days, and I am not going to lie...I loved it, but definitely missed them terribly. The kids had a great time with grandmas and papas, but were excited we were home:)
We all hope to do this again next year...

Glad you guys had a great time --- the grandkids (all four boys) were great the entire weekend. I know I speak for the Pettrones and Perainos as well --- we would do that again in a heartbeat!!!!
