Anthony Michael is here!

I am sooooo sorry it has taken me so long to get a picture of our little miracle on the blog!

Anthony Michael Pettrone was born on Sunday, November 16th at 9:58 am! He weighed 7lbs. 13 oz. and 21 inches long....SAME AS CHARLIE!! It was quite an interesting weekend. In short...I went into labor at 2am on Saturday morning, or so I thought. My contractions were 4-7 minutes apart so I called the doctor, and she told me to come in to check out my cervix. Chas and I were ready and excited that Saturday was the day, but wouldn't you know it ....labor stopped so we went home! I was so upset that he wasn't here and just couldn't wait for Wednesday (that is when I was going to be induced). We went to bed early that evening because my mom and dad thankfully took Charlie for the night, and are we glad they did. At 2am AGAIN...my contractions were strong, but didn't think much of it until I went to use the washroom and found that I was bleeding! I rushed out of the bathroom, told Chas to get up, and called the doctor! With all my complications early on in my pregnancy, I started to worry. My doctor told us to get to the hospital ASAP, which made me even more worried! Once we got there they hooked me up and told me that the reason I was bleeding was because I was jumping in dilation.....THANK GOD! I was in labor for 6 hours and pushed for 10 minutes...I guess it is true that labor flies after your first and I was so happy it did!

Chas and I can't believe we have two beautiful boys and are doing great! Charlie is adjusting to Anthony pretty well, and will touch him cautiously!! I feel great and can't believe how fast I am recovering!

God truly blessed us with a miracle!! Thank you to everyone for all your prayers, they were answered! I think we know what we will be thankful for on Thursday!
