What's happening?

Well I am starting this blog to let everyone know what is going on with us (the Pettrone Family)!

The last 12 weeks have been crazy and I thought that with this blog, I can fill everyone in at once!

So here we go....Chas and I are pregnant AGAIN! After having the miscarriage in December, we were very determined to try again when we were safe to, and wouldn't you know it ..it happened the first time! Everything was going well, until my 7th week. I started to bleed and thought for sure we were having another miscarriage. After going to see the doctor the next day, we were excited to see the heartbeat and that the baby was growing!!! Again Chas and I were confused and nervous to know what was in store for us. I have what is called sub-chronic bleed. There are two bleeds about 6cm in size (which is quite large). I was put on strict bed rest and told to come back in a week. That next week Chas and I were curious to see what was going on, but still prepared to hear the worst. Again, everything went great but the bleeds were still there....no change! I was told to come back in two weeks and we will see what happens, again no change! Two weeks later, no change! Today was a little scary because I got up in the morning to use the washroom and to my surprise...I passed what I thought was a huge clot!! Chas and I went to the doctor today and everything was fine again and the bleeds reduced 25%! The heartbeat was 163 and measuring right on target! I am due by the way November 24...Thanksgiving week! I am still on bed rest, but things are looking better. We are not in the clear yet, but very hopeful! Please keep us in your prayers, the next couple of months are going to be scary! My next doctor appointment is May 28th, so I will keep you all posted!

Not only is this blog about what is going on with me and the little one, but I also want you all to see how big our little angel face is!!! Charlie will be 2 on May 29th and we can't believe it! Chas and I thank God everyday for him!
